Dick and Shirley in the newly remodeled tie-stall barn. Prior to 1987, the barn had stanchion stalls.
Farm dogs are the best and Lad is a favorite with us. He was rescued and rejuvenated only to be near death again, years later, from a snake bite! He recovered from that and now poses nicely for pictures.
New calves are nice. Healthy, heifer calves are always a welcome sight on the farm.
Summer months bring on the work. Dick is taking advantage of the beautiful weather, Dick is running the 4020 John Deere.
