Grass Fed Steers

$3.50 per pound (quarter or half steer)

Healthy grass fed steers born and raised on our farm. They are raised on pasture and a small amount of grain mix, which we make on the farm. They are fed a grass, hay-free choice in the winter. Available by the quarter and half. Ask about availability throughout the year.

Available by the Whole Beef, 1/2 Beef or 1/4 Beef

  • $3.50 per pound hanging weight – payable to Le-Ara Farms
  • $.80 per pound for cut, wrap & freeze – payable to Dixon’s
  • $50.00 per head processing fee
  • $50.00 hauling fee may be divided among customers

Non-refundable Deposits

  • $50 on 1/4 Beef (average hanging weight, 175-200 pounds)
  • $100 on 1/2 Beef (average hanging weight, 350-400 pounds)
  • $150 on whole steer (average hanging weight, 700-800 pounds)

CUT, WRAP and FREEZE AVAILABLE

All money due upon pickup at Dixon’s. Meat is usually ready 2-3 weeks after slaughter date.

  • CHUCK ROAST – $5.50 per pound
  • ARM ROAST – $5.50 per pound
  • SIRLOIN TIP ROAST – $6.50 per pound
  • RUMP ROAST – $7.50 per pound
  • CUBE STEAK – $5.00 per pound, 1 pound average (3 steaks per pack)
  • SIRLOIN STEAK – $10.00 per pound (1 per pack)
  • T-BONE – $10.50 per pound (2 per pack)
  • DELMONICO – $12.00
  • PORTERHOUSE – $11.00 per pound (1 per pack)
  • GROUND HAMBURGER – $5.00 per pound, (about 1lb. pack)
  • BEEF BONES – $5.00 per pound (3 pound pack)
  • BEEF LIVER – $4.00 per pound

BEEF BOXES NOW AVAILABLE

The Box includes a variety of quality cut steak, roasts and burger. Beef Boxes must be preordered. Call for more information, if needed.
