We personally think this is nonsense. Research, (and our own consumption!) shows that raw milk is a safe product that stimulates the immune system. *
It has also been found to be more nutritious, as pasteurizing, or heating, the milk, destroys certain nutrients in the milk. There have also been studies that suggest drinking raw milk as a child may help reduce health problems such as allergies, asthma, gastro-intestinal problems, ADD, and others. *
With all those benefits, it’s easy to see why we think you should be drinking raw milk. However, not all dairies are created equal. You have to know that your source of raw milk is a good one. At Le-Ara Farms, we are a licensed raw milk producer. That means that we are tested several times per year for cleanliness, herd health, and water quality. You can be assured that our dairy is a safe place to purchase raw milk.
